  7. What is the Bath Lab return and exchange policy?

Because of the custom-made nature of our products, we cannot accept returns unless the product was damaged during shipping or an incorrect product was received. Please contact us before returning any items, to obtain a return authorization. An exchange for the damaged or incorrect product will be provided.

As our products are custom-made just for you, variations in color and fragrance intensity will occur. Also note that it is natural for scents to interact with your skin and body chemistry, causing the scent to smell somewhat different after being applied to the skin. Once applied, the scent may then change subtly over time.

  8. What's the difference between a fragrance oil and an essential oil?

Essential oils are naturally concentrated essences of plants, roots, flowers, leaves, fruits, etc. Fragrance oils are synthetic (man-made) fragrances. Bath Lab uses both fragrance oils and essential oils. Where possible, we prefer essential oils, though for many scents (e.g. Bubble Gum), the natural fragrance does not exist or is not available.

  9. Are your products animal-tested?

No. We do not conduct or condone animal testing. Our products are tested only on very-willing family members and friends.

  10. Do your products contain preservatives?

Our products contain small amounts of gentle preservatives in order to protect freshness.

  11. Can I use your products if I have sensitive skin?

Individuals with sensitive skin sometimes have trouble with products containing fragrances and colors. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to try the product on a small area of skin first. Another option is to request a low-level of scenting (enter this request in the Special Instructions box during the ordering process).
